RUN OR WALK AT LEAST ONE MILE EACH DAY THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!
Run or walk at least 1 mile each day from Black Friday (24-Nov) to New Year's Eve (31-Dec). This 38-day challenge has a "3 strikes, you're out" rule, so you can miss 2 days & remain active in the challenge. Bonus: 100% of the donations raised go to charity!

We have three different levels to challenge everyone! Challenge yourself to any level, and feel free to change your mind later because you don’t have to share your level--it's your own personal goal. For example, you can start at the gold level, and then drop down to silver if you can’t hit the daily mileage. But remember, if you miss three days, you’re out!

— Bronze = run/walk at least 1 mile/day

— Silver = run/walk at least 3 miles/day

— Gold = run/walk at least 5 miles/day

For each level, you must run or walk the minimum mileage each day, not just averaging that mileage across several days. So if you run 5+ miles for 30 days, and 1 mile for 1 day, you will finish at the Bronze Level due to that 1 day of 1 mile.  Your level is determined by your actual daily mileage, not your average daily mileage.

While it's FREE to participate, the 2023 Holiday Challenge is produced by Boston’s RACE Cancer Foundation and hopes to raise thousands of dollars to battle cancer. All donations raised will go to our 2023 charity partner, the MGH Cancer Center.

LOG YOUR RUNS IN THE NEW & IMPROVED RACEDAY APP.
You can register and log runs for multiple runners via the same login. You will have two ways to log runs, either via a mobile website (Raceday web version) which can be accessed from any web browser, or via RaceMenu’s Raceday iOS mobile app. Sorry, we do not have an Android app.

You'll have four days to log each daily run. For example, you have until 11:59pm on December 5th to log your December 1st run, or until 11:59pm December 20th to log your December 16th run. If you miss the 4-day deadline, that day counts as a missed day--no exceptions.

DAILY AND WEEKLY PRIZES ALL MONTH LONG!
We will prizes to award every few days during the Holiday Challenge. Some prizes will be awarded to randomly selected runners, while others will be awarded to runners based on creative #holidaychallenge posts on social media.

The Holiday Challenge is much more fun when you create a team and get your friends and family involved. There’s strength in numbers, because the total mileage for all team members determines your team’s ranking on the leaderboard.

We will have commemorative shirts with the name of ALL Holiday Challenge entrants. You can register and order your shirt until December 17th. The price includes UPS trackable shipping to anywhere in the USA. The shirts will ship in mid-January.
